Title IV funds are awarded to a student under the assumption that the student will attend school for the entire period for which the assistance is awarded. 当学生退学或停止上课时, the student may no longer be eligible for the full amount of Title IV funds that the student was originally scheduled to receive.

When a student is considered to have totally withdrawn during a payment period or term in which he/she has begun attendance 和 received federal Title IV financial aid, 十大菠菜靠谱平台的大学 is required to determine the amount of earned 和 unearned Title IV aid. A student is only eligible to retain the percentage of Title IV aid disbursed that is equal to the percentage of the payment period or term that was completed by the student. 的 unearned Title IV aid must then be returned to the appropriate federal aid program(s).   • 模块/会话取款 — A module withdrawal refers to a course or courses in a program that do not span the entire length of the payment period or term. If a student drops or withdraws from an individual module 和 does not complete all of the days he/she was initially scheduled to prior to ceasing attendance, a return of Title IV funds calculation must be performed to determine the percentage of financial aid earned 和 unearned. If a student provides written confirmation of his/her intent to attend a future module within the semester, it is not necessary to perform the recalculation; however, the student’s attendance must be scheduled to resume within 45 calendar days after the end of the module or course the student ceased (or failed) to attend in order for the student not to be considered to have withdrawn.  学生在本学期的出勤情况必须被记录. 如果确定该学生没有参加未来的模块, 必须重新计算.
